There has been loads of ‘news’ about kites in the last few days . Though you know most of them but still posting them here .
Hrithik gets cozy with Barbara
Latin actress Barbara Mori is the main attraction of Rakesh Roshan’s Kites. For the first time ever, Hrithik has been cast opposite an international actress and so the anticipation is too high. Kites is touted to be one of the most sensuous films made till date as the film is overloaded with sumptuous scenes of Hrithik with his co-star and for the first time, we will get to see Hrithik in a hot avatar. Recently, Hrithik and Barbara had shot a very close scene and Roshan Sr was gently asked to leave the set.
“The two sizzle together. This is Hrithik’s most sensuous film to date. The accent here is not only on his dancing but also on his ability to generate sensuality, which has so far remained largely under wraps, the chemistry with Aishwarya Rai in ‘Dhoom 2′ notwithstanding. In ‘Kites’, Basu has shot another more sensuous side of Hrithik,” said a source close to the film.
After shooting month long in New Mexico, the troupe packed their baggage for Las Vegas. Soon they will wrap up the overseas shooting and fly to Mumbai on Oct 12. “We are on schedule”, informed Rakesh Roshan. Anurag Basu’s hot favorite Kangana Ranaut is another lead heroine of the film.
Hrithik will have thin moustache n beard in Kites
Hrithik who has sported a moustache in Jodhaa Akbar, a tan in Dhoom 2 will now be sporting a beard in Kites! A unit hand of the film revealed, “Hrithik will have a thin moustache and beard in Kites. The actor is looking as great as ever in the look. He has also lost weight to look fitter. He also insists on performing all the stunts by himself.”

‘Kites’ brings out sensuous side of Hrithik

According to sources, the scenes between Hrithik and Barbara were so intimate and sensuous that Rakesh Roshan would gently be asked to leave the set.
The Roshans are not talking about the film’s sensuous theme and scenes, but Roshan Sr does inform that all is smooth sailing with “Kites”.
“We are on schedule. After finishing shooting in New Mexico on Sep 12, we’ve shifted to Las Vegas. From here we’ll relocate for the last lap of the US shooting to Los Angeles on Oct 3. We’re returning to Mumbai on Oct 12,” Rakesh Roshan told IANS.
However, there was change of guard in the crew. Cinematographer Bobby Singh opted out of “Kites”, but Hrithik claims there was no ill-will involved in the changeover.
“It was an amicable split. Now Ayananka Bose is doing it,” Hrithik said.
Ayananka, who was a former assistant to the well-known cinematographer Ravi Chandran, had shot Yash Raj Films’ “Jhoom Barabar Jhoom”.
The change, says Hrithik, has made no difference to the project.”
We shifted earlier this week to Las Vegas as per plan. We’re now here in Vegas for a month. Then we shoot in Los Angeles for eight days. After that we’re done,” said Hrithik.
Kangana Ranaut, who plays the female lead in “Kites”, has just joined the Roshans and her favourite director Anurag Basu in Vegas.
Is Roshan Sr ghost directing Kites?
Rumour has it that Rakesh Roshan has asked director Anurag Basu to take it easy on the sets of Kites. A friend who’s with the unit tells me that Papa Roshan isn’t too happy with the way the film’s shaping up. And guess what? He has actually taken over the reins of the project!
Kites, I am told, is very important not just to Rakesh but also to Hrithik. Apparently Jr Roshan wants to keep his series of hits going. And why not, after the humiliation and the losses they faced in Krazzy 4, I can totally understand the concerns of the Roshans.
Hrithik Roshan babysits Barbara Mori’s kid
Hrithik Roshan has apparently been bonding well with co-star Barbara Mori’s son on the sets of Kites .
After a change in the cinematographer, the film’s unit has now shifted to Las Vegas and Hrithik’s wife Suzanne is expected to join him there with the couple’s younger son Hridhaan.
The final lap of the ‘Kites’ schedule will be shot in Los Angeles from early October.
